The seasonal decorating has been in full swing here at Green Lake. We could not decide on one tree, so we have a few. One outside, a holly tree, that we think looks great with lights. I told Gina that those lights were on permanently, or at least til I could cut the wires. Holly tree is pretty, but oh so sharp!
For our inside tree(s) we decided that since we have a small house, a small tree would be perfect. And if it's small, we could have two. Our favorite is the Charlie Brown tree. It's "pathetic" . The new desk needed a tree. of course. And the new bathrom couldn't go un-adorned. of course not.
The annual Christmas card contest is underway. Full, and final, results will be posted in January.
Well, I must go wrap some presents. Because it is SO obvious when Gina does it all. They all look fantastic. I am the pathetic wrapper.

THANK GOD a new blog!!! Remind me of WHY I go shopping on the weekends when I have the time during the week when others are working the old 9-5?? Just back from multiple stops and got the email that the BLOG has been updated! LOVE the trees! My fav is the Charlie Brown tree too! We have that action going on in our front yard. Our little ginko tree loses it's leaves and looks like a stick, so we put a little string of lights on it and VIOLA!! CB tree!
Oh, and remember, cross-training is good.
it says "we 3 trees" but there are 4 trees... is this a "we 3 kings" pun mishap perhaps? consult me beforehand so that I can proofread/edit/(censor?) your bloggage.... just kidding. well, only a little.
